The CTSI Biorepository collects, processes, stores bio-specimen samples for the CTSI Biorepository Institutional Library from consented patients. The bio-specimens are distributed to IRB approved investigators. The CTSI Biorepository also provides bio-specimen storage services for bio-specimens collected by investigators. The UF CRC Processing Laboratory assists with DNA extraction, and the UF Molecular Pathology Core provides histology and immunopathology services on remnant retrospective and prospective tissue samples.
